Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Restaurant Cook to assist restaurant associates in maintaining high-quality food while managing inventory costs. The role involves producing daily items, controlling inventories, and upholding health and sanitation standards.

You will coordinate with the head cook, ensure proper stock levels, and help minimize waste while supporting events and daily menus. Candidates should have 3+ years of kitchen experience and be available evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of relevant kitchen/cook experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Team player with a growth mindset (win together).

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate daily menu items for menus and events.
• Control daily and weekly inventories and monitor cost.
• Maintain clean, organized work area adhering to health codes.
• Communicate supply needs with head cook and supervisor.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safety of food products and equipment.
• Support production of daily items using production/build-to sheets.
