Job summary

The ideal candidate will prep food per plan, maintain cleanliness, assist with inventory, and support the chef as needed. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related kitchen experience are preferred, plus Food Safety and Sanitation Training.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading and speaking English to interact with team and customers.
• High school diploma or GED required; related experience considered.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantities of food according to the production plan.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
• Alert chef or supervisor to equipment issues, overages, or shortages.
• Requisition inventory and receive supplies for daily production.
• Ensure proper storage, wrapping, dating and rotation of food items.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
