Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service and contributing to sales during peak seasonal days. You will participate in day-to-day store operations with a focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service.

The ideal candidate must prioritize customer satisfaction and be available to work during peak seasonal sales days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests during every transaction.
• Support the shopping environment, visual and operational aspects, and store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and transferring products from stock room to selling floor, ensuring presentation and organization.
• Help the team meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
