Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak seasons. You will focus on sales, customer service, and store maintenance.

You will greet guests, recommend products, assist with merchandising, stock shelves, and help meet sales and shrinkage goals. Must be 18+, with high school diploma or equivalent; retail or guest service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Suggest additional items and apply selling behaviors during every transaction.
• Support the shopping environment and store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep all store areas clean, organized, and merchandised as directed.
• Stock and restock merchandise; ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Assist in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention best practices.
