Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the store team on a short-term basis during peak seasons. You will deliver outstanding guest service, assist with video game needs, and participate in the buy/sell/trade/reservation activities described in GameStop’s Circle of Life.

The role emphasizes sales, store maintenance, and customer service. Ideal candidates are 18+, with high school diploma or equivalent, and prior retail or guest service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video gaming needs; recommend items and complete transactions with selling behaviors.
• Support store environment, visuals, and sales initiatives during peak season.
• Maintain clean, organized, merchandised store areas including restrooms.
• Stock and restock merchandise; ensure shelves are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Assist in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention; adhere to safety practices.
• Follow all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.
