GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales periods. You will focus on sales, guest service, and store maintenance, helping customers with video gaming needs and facilitating the Circle of Life buy/sell/trade/reservation model.

The role emphasizes working nights, weekends, and holidays with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and teamwork to drive holiday sales targets. Prior retail experience is preferred and the position is temporary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior retail sales or guest service experience is beneficial.
• Strong guest service skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor are important.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with their gaming needs.
• Support store operations, visual merchandising, and holiday sales initiatives.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Stock and restock merchandise, ensure items are presented and alphabetized on the floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals through effective selling and service.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues as needed to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, staying aware of safety procedures.
• Adhere to all store policies including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
