Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak holiday days, delivering outstanding guest service while applying the Circle of Life selling model.

You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service, helping guests with video gaming needs, stocking, merchandising, and contributing to sales initiatives. Availability during busy periods is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs during every transaction.
• Fully support the store environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to holiday sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, ensuring items are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and stay aware of scams.
• Adhere to GameStop policies, including attendance and confidentiality.
