Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support store teams during peak periods. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional guest service, assisting with sales, merchandising, and store maintenance to support the Circle of Life program on a short-term basis.

You will work closely with the store team on days with high seasonal demand, maintaining a welcoming shopping environment while meeting sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and assist with video game needs, promoting add-ons and thanking guests for shopping with GameStop.
• Maintain an engaging store environment and support holiday sales initiatives across the store.
• Keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines, including restrooms.
• Assist in stocking and replenishing shelves and transferring merchandise from stock to selling floor, keeping items well-presented.
• Help the team meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, and be aware of scams; follow safety practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
