Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales periods. The role focuses on sales, guest service, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment aligned with GameStop’s Circle of Life model.

You will greet guests, recommend items, stock shelves, assist with merchandising, and help meet sales goals while upholding company policies and safety standards. Availability is required for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or guest service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending items.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, ensuring products are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and elevate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and adhere to safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
