Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Cashier to provide fast, friendly service at the front end. You will process transactions, verify IDs, promote loyalty programs, and bag products while greeting customers and building relationships.

Training on wine, spirits and beer will enhance product knowledge and service excellence. The role may be part-time or full-time and is seasonal, with a six-month maximum unless converted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Promote loyalty program and bag products at checkout.
• Greet customers, engage to build relationships, inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and compliance with alcohol sale laws.
