Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a qualified Cashier/Front End Team Member for our California locations. You will handle transactions, greet customers, promote the loyalty program, and provide a personalized shopping experience while maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Seasonal (short-term) role with a pay range of $18.55–$22.26 per hour. Work flexible evenings and weekends, with training on wine, spirits, and beer. Prior retail experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience preferred in retail.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Promote loyalty program and assist customers with inquiries.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to laws related to alcohol sales and store safety.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned.
