Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a Cashier in Ann Arbor, MI. You will provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, and help customers with product knowledge. The role may also involve duties as sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate, under the Front End Team.

We offer training, a team-focused environment, and a path to growth within the store. Seasonal positions are available for a limited term with potential transition to non-seasonal roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and informing about products.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to laws related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
