Job summary

Total Wine & More is looking for a friendly Cashier to deliver fast, accurate checkout experiences and assist customers with product knowledge. You will process transactions, answer questions, and promote loyalty programs while maintaining store standards.

The role may also involve duties as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock, with opportunities to train on wine, spirits, and beer and participate in Total Rewards programs. The position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers and build relationships to inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
