Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring for a seasonal Cashier role. You will provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, and promote the loyalty program while ensuring compliance with alcohol sale laws.

The role may also include duties as a sales associate or merchandiser and requires flexibility for evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in retail, familiarity with POS systems, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Answer questions and promote the loyalty program.
• Bag product and maintain organization at the checkout and in the store.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards; adhere to alcohol sale regulations.
