Job summary

The Department of Tourism and Recreation is seeking a Seasonal Desk Clerk for Fort Cobb Golf Course to be the friendly face at the front office, lodge, or pro shop. You will assist guests with information, reservations, and basic transactions, ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities include answering phones, checking in guests, processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two (2) years of experience in sales, public contact work, handling and processing mail, or general office clerical work, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, takes messages, and provides information about location facilities.
• Receives walk-in and phone-in reservation requests. Checks guests into reservations, validates parking.
• Posts charges to guest accounts, including corrections and transfers. Collects charges, processes credit card vouchers, and closes guest accounts.
• Checks in/out recreation equipment, golf carts, etc. to guests. Assists with gift shop sales and restocking merchandise.
• Prepares reports and correspondence using office equipment and software. Keeps public areas clean and organized.
