Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a seasonal Lobby Attendant to greet guests, assist patients and visitors, and act as a liaison to hospital staff. You will help with directions, concierge requests, and keep the front desk orderly while upholding safety and service standards.

The role requires prior client service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment. Weekend and evening shifts are included in a seasonal schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client service / reception position.
• Phone and computer skills including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
• Able to navigate to/from various locations throughout the facility.
• Able to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
• Physical ability to withstand frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and transferring patients.
• May be required to complete CPR/BLS training.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists guests and patients at the lobby.
• Provides concierge-style support and directions within the facility.
• Coordinates with hospital staff and other departments as needed.
• Maintains a clean, organized front desk and reception area.
• Responds calmly to emergencies and escalates appropriately.
• Supports team members to ensure smooth lobby operations.
