Des Moines Golf and Country Club in West Des Moines, IA seeks a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members, guests, and vendors. You will manage front desk operations, answer calls, assist with dining and event registrations, and support senior staff.

This seasonal, evening position requires professionalism, strong communication, and basic computer skills. You will handle sign-in, menus, coats, and light administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Formación

• Greet and assist members, guests and coworkers with professionalism.
• Be a team player and communicate effectively to the front desk staff.
• Proficient with computers and iPad; MS Office, Canva, Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Greet members, guests, and employees with professionalism.
• Direct attendees to rooms and place event signage for events.
• Address inquiries, reservations, and requests promptly.
• Keep the Front Desk and Lobby welcoming and organized.
• Manage phone, email, and in-person communications for smooth operations.
• Check in with managers on duty and offer assistance.
• Resolve issues at the front desk and escalate to management when needed.
• Check coats for members and guests.
• Assist with to-go orders and wine orders as requested.
• Handle cash drawer and provide change as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
