Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, NJ is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Driver for 1st shift. You will operate forklifts to move, stack and count goods, ensuring accurate receiving, storage and order fulfillment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months in logistics, and a forklift/MHE certification. Safety, accuracy, and reliable teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE ( forklift or similar equipment ) with certification.

Responsibilities

• Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and store product; input data into WMS.
• Order Picking: Pull and prepare for shipment; ensure correct items and quantities are loaded.
• Quality: Ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances.
• Delivery: Move product from staging to production lines or docks; ensure proper documentation accompanies freight.
• Inventory: Maintain records; assist in physical inventories; ensure stock rotation.
• Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Maintain clean work area; comply with SOPs and safety rules; participate in safety meetings.
