Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, USA, is looking for a Seasonal Forklift Driver for 1st Shift. The role focuses on operating forklifts and interfacing with WMS/RF scanners to receive, store, pick, and ship goods safely and efficiently.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and 6 months in a logistics setting; experience with WMS is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided by DSV.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; input data into WMS.
• Pull and prepare for shipment; ensure correct quantity and type of product.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances.
• Move product from staging to production lines or storage docks with proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Operate forklift and other equipment safely; maintain certification.
