Job summary

DSV Northlake is seeking a Forklift Driver for 1st shift (Monday–Friday) to safely move, store, and retrieve merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse. The role focuses on operating forklifts and other equipment, assisting with receiving and shipping, maintaining accurate inventory, and following safety and company policies.

Prior warehouse experience and a valid forklift certification are required. DSV offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth within the logistics division

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution.
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare for shipment and ensure correct item and quantity.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area.
• Operate forklift and other powered equipment safely.
