Qualifications

• MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in forestry, parks or recreational management, or an equivalent combination.
• Substitutions: Associate's degree or higher in forestry, natural resources management or parks and recreation management may substitute the required experience.
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: valid Massachusetts driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Snow and ice operations, and overtime/holidays as required.
• Supervise seasonal operation, administration and maintenance of the assigned facility.
• Supervise staff, assign work, evaluate performance and provide training.
• Maintain professional standards for visitor services, safety and resource protection.
• Coordinate with partners and prepare reports and communications.
• Interview candidates and provide on-the-job training.
