Seasonal, Facility Maintenance Specialist

Join us as a Seasonal, Facility Maintenance Specialist at H&R Block.

About the Role

This position involves non-systems duties such as delivering supplies, basic maintenance, and assisting with the setup and closing of seasonal offices.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic building maintenance (e.g., replacing bulbs, ceiling tiles, cleaning HVAC vents, minor electrical work). For complex repairs, notify the District Operations Coordinator (DOC).
• Deliver supplies and materials to offices.
• Assist with office setup and closure, including installing signage, ensuring cleanliness, and meeting brand standards.
• Attend required training.
• Secure the office after hours.
• Communicate with the DOC regarding operational tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Experience: Basic reading skills, familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Suite, reliable transportation, ability to lift 20+ lbs, decision-making, organizational, communication, and time management skills, ability to work independently, follow directions, and multitask.

Work Experience: No prior experience necessary.
