Job summary

Desert Botanical Garden is seeking a Beverage Support Assistant to help the Beverage Operations Manager for facility rental events, internal events, and special events requiring beverage services. Responsibilities include assisting with bar setup, providing supplies, and backing up bartenders.

The role requires 2+ years in food & beverage, AZ DLLC Title 4 certification (or obtained after hire), and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in food and beverage industry or related field.
• AZ DLLC Title 4 certification required or to be obtained after hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work off-hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bar setup and service for events and back up bartenders.
• Provide administrative support and create custom menus for events.
• Observe and comply with Arizona liquor laws.
• Assist with training of bartenders and with beverage policies.
• Troubleshoot POS payment and equipment.
