Desert Botanical Garden is seeking a Beverage Support Assistant to help the Beverage Operations Manager for facility rental events, internal events, and special events requiring beverage services. Responsibilities include assisting with bar setup, providing supplies, and backing up bartenders.
The role requires 2+ years in food & beverage, AZ DLLC Title 4 certification (or obtained after hire), and strong customer service.

Provide support and assistance to the Beverage Operations Manager for facility rental events, special events, and internal events that require beverage services.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $18.00/hr
Typical office equipment and everything needed to successfully operate a bar.
Frequent interaction with Garden employees, especially Event Services and Garden Site-Ops staff.
Frequent interaction with visitors and guests.
Some physical effort beyond what's typically required in a normal office environment. Potential for tight deadlines or time periods of high workload may require additional hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, see, hear, speak, read, and type. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. Must be able to operate a computerized POS system. During events, this role may work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
