Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, document thoroughly, and respond rapidly to patient needs within a fast-paced ER.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license with an Associate Degree at minimum, plus ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications. The role emphasizes teaching patients and families and supporting improved clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active Texas license or eligibility.
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing required.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC required or within stated deadlines.
• NCLEX passed and current certification renewals up to date.
• Crisis management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered ER care.
• Document care in medical records promptly and accurately.
• Respond to patient requests promptly; anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and follow-up.
• Promote healthy lifestyle and self-management education.
