Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models.

You will assess pain, perform ER procedures, document care, and educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up steps. The role requires RN licensure, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and completion of required certifications within specified

Qualifications

• RN license required within licensure rules
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• ACLS/PALS/Trauma prerequisites within specified timelines
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or equivalent within 1 year of start date
• Basic life support required within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER.
• Assesses pain and promotes effective pain management.
• Documents care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow‑up.
