Qualifications

• Active RN license required (state of employment)
• ACLS within 90 days of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• PALS within 90 days of start date
• TNCC within 1 year of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or comparable program within 1 year of start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with department standards.
• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management with timely reassessments.
• Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered; document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps; translate medical terminology as needed.
• Teach about non-medicinal follow-up measures, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention.
