JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Seasonal Equipment Operator I/CDL Driver is an entry-level position in the Equipment Operator series. The role involves performing unskilled and semi-skilled duties in operating vehicles and equipment used in construction, maintenance, and repair of county roads and right-of-ways. Equipment operated includes weed trimmers, chain saws, demolition saws, mowers, skid steers, small compaction rollers, patch trucks, sweepers, crack seal/fill machines, front-end loaders, backhoes, and trucks (single and tandem axle). Duties vary by district and may include asphalt overlay preparation, hauling materials, graveling roads, shoveling, raking, sweeping, and traffic control.

This full-time, temporary position typically works Monday-Thursday, 40 hours/week, on-site.
Hiring Range: $25.32-26.59 USD Hourly. Salary depends on education, experience, and skills.
