Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in merchandising, stocking, and store recovery to keep the store well-merchandised.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, engaging them in rewards programs, and supporting Omni channel processes. Ability to stand for long periods and lift items is required, with shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) duties.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies and standards.
