Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Gainesville, GA, is seeking a store associate to provide friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure quick checkout with accurate cash handling.

You will participate in stocking, truck unloads, and planogram maintenance while promoting the Michaels rewards program and supporting omni-channel processes. This role requires standing for long periods and a positive store presence.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift and move heavy boxes as part of merchandising and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, help locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Encourage and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) maintenance.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
