Job summary

Michaels in Brentwood, CA is seeking a Store Team Member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and provide checkout service. You will engage customers with rewards programs and help maintain an inviting store environment.

The role includes supporting omnichannel processes and stocking duties, with opportunities to cross-train in framing services. Applicants should be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting boxes.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and move around a store.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including go-back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
• Interact with others respectfully; cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
