Job summary

Michaels Stores in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a friendly Store Team Member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will be part of a team delivering our brand promises and supporting store operations.

You’ll participate in truck unloads, restocking, and recovery to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store, with cross-training opportunities in framing and related duties.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain well-merchandised and in-stock store; complete merchandise recovery and return/go back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
