Job summary

Macy's, Inc. is seeking a Core Trainer to support onboarding and task-based training for Seasonal and Core Colleagues. The role maintains high accuracy while coaching teams and reviewing work across departments to ensure operational excellence and consistent customer service.

Core Trainers are cross-trained in all facility areas, delivering training, retraining, and coaching to drive safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand employment policies in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to train and develop others.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and task-based training for Seasonal and Core Colleagues.
• Deliver high accuracy in training and reviewing work across departments.
• Provide refresher training and retraining to improve performance.
• Ensure work instructions and safety guidelines are consistently followed.
• Partner with Training Ambassadors to standardize training.
• Cross-train across multiple departments to support operational needs.
• Complete training checklists and monitor progress.
