Delaware North at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia is hiring a seasonal Cook to join our team. You will review menus, prepare food, operate kitchen equipment, and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.

As a Cook, you will be a visible leader in a kitchen that nurtures your culinary talents and celebrates creativity, with responsibilities including opening/closing duties, waste control, and ensuring proper portions and temperatures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a back-of-house foodservice position.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills for recipe measurements and portioning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to meet portion sizes and quality standards, ensure proper temperatures and packaging.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
• Record waste using waste control guidelines on the spoilage sheet.
• Handle opening, closing, and side work duties plus end-of-day inventory.
