Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Construction Project Representative to join the Construction Services team in the Twin Cities Metro.

You will review construction activities for compliance with plans, prepare daily reports, and assist in project documentation, coordinating with clients and engineers on daily items. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, with an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred, and familiarity with MnDOT specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred.
• MnDOT technical certifications for grading/base and bituminous streets preferred.
• Knowledge of MnDOT/CEAM specs and standard plates preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; travel to sites may be required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review construction activities for compliance with project plans and specs.
• Prepare daily observation reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineers on daily items.
• Perform or coordinate material testing procedures and interpret results.
• Measure work products to determine quantities and payments.
• Schedule and review site surveying and staking against plans.
• Perform engineering computations, drafting, and plan production work.
• Provide technical advice on construction modifications and repairs.
• Inspect sites and evaluate contractor work for conformance.
