Job summary

Jackson Hewitt invites friendly, dependable individuals to join as Seasonal Client Service Associates in Houston. You will help with client intake, document handling, scheduling, and day-to-day office tasks while delivering an exceptional client experience.

No prior tax experience is required, as paid training is provided. This role offers flexible scheduling, multiple locations, and opportunities to grow within the tax service team.

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt.
• Dependability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, office, or sales experience is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and create a great first impression.
• Start the client intake process.
• Scan and organize tax documents.
• Perform basic data entry accurately.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Answer phones and follow up with past and potential clients.
• Keep clients informed and engaged during wait times.
