Purpose and Summary

Operate a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pickup of agronomy and energy products according to specified schedules to support profitable growth.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate all assigned vehicles, including forklifts, following safety standards and proper techniques.
• Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections, including checking fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes.
• Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, providing excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including bill of lading, delivery slips, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo and other duties.

Other Job Functions

• Maintain company equipment and adhere to uniform and professional standards.
• Follow GROWMARK’s policies, safety, and compliance procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and meet DOT standards.
• Possess or be able to obtain a CDL with required endorsements, valid medical card, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and permits.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including dust, fumes, and at heights; lift 51-70 lbs.

Participation in training related to company policies and safety is required.
