Job description

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates trucks in single, tandem, or multi-axle configurations for delivery and/or pick-up of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to support profitable business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operates all assigned vehicles, including forklifts, in accordance with safety standards and proper operation techniques.
2. Performs daily safety checks on vehicles and equipment, conducting pre-trip inspections and maintaining cleanliness and functionality.
3. Loads and unloads materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with DOT regulations.
4. Ensures timely deliveries and pickups, promoting excellent customer service and professionalism.
5. Completes all necessary documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices.
6. Maintains accurate logs and records of cargo and other required documentation daily.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for maintaining company equipment and adhering to safety and conduct policies. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of related experience operating tractor-trailer or tender trucks, meeting company and DOT standards. Must have or obtain a CDL with tanker endorsement, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record. Ability to work extended hours and participate in required training. Capable of lifting 51-70 lbs and working in various environmental conditions.
