Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Store Team Member in the Richmond area. You will assist customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, enabling BOPIS/SFS, participating in truck unloads, and upholding store recovery and safety standards. You must be 16+ with retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; manage go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact positively with customers and teammates; model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
