What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Position Details

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with merchandise.

Specific responsibilities vary by role, for example:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Stocking and distributing merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting customers on the sales floor (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and duties may vary as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles depending on hiring needs.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: generally scheduled for 10 to 40 hours, with additional hours possible based on store needs.
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker may require late evening, night, or early morning shifts.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Minimum ability to lift 25 pounds (with or without assistance), over 25 pounds with assistance (except CSA Front End).
• Minimum ability to lift 10 pounds (with or without assistance), over 10 pounds with assistance (only CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, Sales Floor): 6 months experience with computers (inputting, accessing, modifying data) and handheld devices (mobile phones, scanners, tablets).

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• CSAs: 6 months retail experience, including customer interaction, product knowledge, and issue resolution.

If required by local law, you must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
