What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this includes:

  • Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
  • Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
  • Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate role may include positions such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically on a temporary basis. All roles support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role, such as assembling merchandise (Assembler), stocking (Receiver/Stocker), loading merchandise (CSA Loader), assisting shoppers (CSA Sales Floor), and processing sales/returns (CSA Front End). This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles based on store needs.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel to meetings, training, or support for neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

  • Hourly Seasonal: generally scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required based on store needs.
  • Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker roles require late evening, night, and early morning availability.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance (except CSA Front End).
  • Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance; may lift over 10 pounds with or without assistance (only CSA Front End).

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information) and 6 months of experience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, tablet) for entering and retrieving information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift or similar power equipment.
  • CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): 6 months of retail experience, including tasks such as identifying and selling products, explaining warranties, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving issues, zone recovery, and housekeeping.

If a salesperson license is required by local or state law, you must obtain or pass the licensing exam within 60 days of employment.
