Job summary

The Seasonal Campus Store Team Member at Barnes & Noble College helps deliver an exceptional retail experience to students, faculty, and alumni. You will greet customers, assist with locating materials, operate the POS, and keep the store organized and stocked.

You’ll work closely with a team in a fast-paced campus setting, with flexible scheduling during peak academic periods. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and DailyPay is available for hourly employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and teammates.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions (cash, credit, financial aid).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor through merchandising and housekeeping.
• Support daily store operations with inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment.
