Job summary

Barnes & Noble College at the University of Connecticut in Storrs is seeking a Seasonal Campus Store Team Member to deliver exceptional service and maintain a welcoming, organized store environment.

You will greet customers, help locate course materials, operate the POS, process payments, stock shelves, and assist with inventory and campus services while learning products and promotions.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old or as required by local law.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak academic periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, supplies, apparel, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and replenishment.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment, and other operational tasks.
