Job summary

BARNES & NOBLE COLLEGE is seeking a Seasonal Campus Store Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, help students and faculty, and keep the campus store well organized. You’ll greet customers, assist with course materials, operate the POS, and support daily store operations with accuracy and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teammates.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating materials and merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system for transactions.
