Job summary

Barnes & Noble College in Asheville is seeking a Seasonal Campus Store Team Member to deliver an exceptional retail experience. You will greet customers, help them find materials, process transactions, and keep the sales floor welcoming and well stocked.

You’ll work with store leaders and teammates in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing needs, and support inventory and receiving tasks while upholding the Barnes & Noble College brand and standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating products and merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system for transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities.
• Contribute to a positive shopping experience reflecting the Barnes & Noble College brand.
