Job summary

Barnes & Noble College in Atlanta is seeking a Seasonal Campus Store Team Member to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, help students locate course materials and merchandise, and keep the sales floor organized. You’ll operate the POS system, assist with inventory and receiving, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced campus store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak academic periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, apparel, gifts, and supplies.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment, and other store tasks.
