Job summary

Barnes & Noble College in Berkeley is seeking Seasonal Campus Store Team Members to deliver an exceptional retail experience. You will greet customers, answer questions, and process transactions at the POS while maintaining an organized, well-stocked sales floor.

Working with store leadership and teammates, you will assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and fulfilling orders, all while staying informed on merchandise and campus services to help students, faculty, and alumni.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly service.
• Assist customers in locating materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment and other tasks to keep the store ready.
