• Background in youth education or early childhood development with social-emotional learning understanding.
• Strong people skills and exceptional customer service abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office; adaptable to changing needs.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience planning and facilitating workshops/trainings.
• Able to supervise staff and manage scheduling.
• Experience with youth programs such as summer camps or after-school programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the program team, implementing the camp vision and work plan.
• Use data and feedback to improve camp programming.
• Maintain program records, file reports, and manage correspondence.
• Budget, order, and manage supplies for Camp Counselor training and supervision.
• Supervise and schedule Camp Counselors.
• Plan and co-facilitate Camp Counselor meetings and check-ins.
• Collect all required participation documents and waivers.
• Manage parent/guardian correspondence and weekly newsletters.
• Document camp through photos shared with families weekly.
• Serve as first contact for illness, incidents, and behavioral issues.
• Provide quality customer service through the camp office and daily sign-in/out.
