Job summary

A-Z Creativity LLC in Redwood City is hiring Camp Counselors for day camps during school breaks. The role involves teaching pre-written visual arts curriculum to children ages 5-9, ensuring safety and managing groups.

Pay is $31/hour for Leads and $26/hour for Associates, with a Google Meet interview and reference check. Background check and TB test are required, and applicants must be able to lift 35 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Opportunity

During school breaks and days when schools are closed, we run day camps through our Parks & Recreation Partners. We have many of these that pop up throughout the academic year. We currently are seeking team members for the position below. Once on the team and after successful completion of this temporary contract, more opportunities will be available in the future.

Who we are:

A-Z Creativity LLC is an arts education organization that specializes in fostering intentional creativity in children through engagement and exploration in the visual arts. Our classes build confidence and inspire children by intentionally teaching material skills and creating an environment that allows for open-ended exploration and problem solving.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining material bin (stored at a nearby storage unit)
• Teaching pre-written open-ended visual arts curriculum to children ages 5-9.
• Maintaining child safety and group management

Requirements:

• Be able to pass a background check & TB test
• Experience working with children
• Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand and walk for 2 hours, bend, kneel, sit, or crouch.
