Job summary

Eataly Caffe team members act as brand ambassadors, delivering hospitality and high-quality beverages while following Eataly’s recipes. They work across cafe operations, serving espresso, beverages, and prepared foods with attention to allergens and guest needs.

Team members maintain cleanliness, assist with stock and deliveries, and operate the POS system during shifts. This seasonal role requires flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, and weekends in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista or hospitality professional with customer service focus.
• Strong guest service skills and product knowledge.
• Ability to communicate allergen information clearly and accurately.
• Experience handling cash and using a POS system.
• Comfort operating cafe equipment and maintaining hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service and product knowledge to guests.
• Greet and assist guests, guiding them through their cafe experience.
• Prepare and serve espresso and cafe beverages across counters.
• Collaborate with team across front- and back-of-house areas.
• Follow recipes, allergen guidelines, and health/safety standards.
• Keep cafe clean, organized, and stocked; manage deliveries and stock.
